The Arrow Manipulation Novel The Arrow Manipulation is Will Cupchik's first novel. It spans a period of over a half-century, from 1957 through through 2009, and involves the fictional activities of certain civilian and military Canadians and Americans, the corporate and military organizations to which they belong(ed), and their efforts to destroy two major distinctly Canadian accomplishments in order to benefit their military and civilian American counterparts.
About the author Will Cupchik worked as an electrical engineer in aeronautical field in the early 1960s, designing navigational guidance systems for the then-next generation of military aircraft. His unique contribution was the development of an add-on guidance system that allowed one or more ship-based helicopters to conduct submarine 'search, locate and destroy' missions. In 1979 Will Cupchik completed his Ph.D. degree in counseling psychology at the University of Toronto. He has worked in the educational and health care fields as a teacher, lecturer, and psychologist for over four decades. He is a leading authority in the all-too-real area of usually honest adults who steal. He has written a leading book in the area, intitled Why Honest People Shoplift Or Commit Other Acts Of Theft. He has appeared on numerous American network television programs, including ABC's Good Morning America, MSNBC Investigates, and the CBS Early Show to discuss his findings, and has been quoted in numerous written publications, including the New York Times, Denver Post, and San Francisco Chronicle. The Arrow Manipulation is his first novel.
